Initially, I was motivated by the opportunity to work in a positive environment with technical and mechanical activities.

My career at Kalmar began in 2017 as a Production Planner Trainee in the Terminal Tractors (TT) Division. Today, I am honoured to serve as the first-ever Demand Planner in the Kalmar Organization. My reporting line is in CounterBalanced Division, however the duties are extended to TT Division as well. Over the years, my role has evolved through various stages: from a Production Planner Trainee in the TT Division to a Production Planner Specialist in the Forklift Trucks, with additional responsibilities supporting the Counterbalance Container Handling production planning. I later transitioned to the Service Division as a Supply Planner, where I managed supplier relationships and component procurement.

Initially, I was motivated by the opportunity to work in a positive environment with technical and mechanical activities. Over time, my motivation has evolved into being recognized as a competent woman in the heavy industry, traditionally a very male-dominated field.

Key Milestones and Memorable projects

My roles have evolved significantly, from a Trainee to a Specialist. I've had numerous growth opportunities, including participation in Leadership training organised by MAU Poland. Throughout my journey, I've learned the importance of flexibility, continuous learning, and effective communication. Also, one big achievement was successful negotiation and secured with suppliers to ensure strong relationships and reliable support.

From the several projects to which I participated or handled one of the most memorable projects I led was a cost-saving initiative in the Paint Shop at MAU Poland. This project optimised the machine painting processes, leading to significant savings and showcasing the excellent collaboration between our Sourcing and Planning teams.

Company Culture and and Kalmar’s Core Behaviours

Kalmar, through its leadership and direct reporting line managers, actively promotes growth by offering both internal and external training opportunities. Kalmar also supports employees in pursuing further education, fostering both personal and professional development.

What I appreciate most about Kalmar is its commitment to equality. There is no hierarchy of worth; directors and lower-level employees are treated with equal respect. This creates a welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing their ideas and thoughts. Kalmar's core behaviours are deeply embedded in its culture, promoting a positive attitude and offering numerous growth opportunities.
