Mette Kjems Baerentzen

Head of Sustainability, Kalmar

Mette is responsible for facilitating the reduction of Kalmar’s CO2 emissions by 50% before 2030 through decarbonisation of the supply chain, reducing equipment use phase emissions and ensuring long equipment lifetime through service, maintenance and refurbishment. Mette has worked at Kalmar for six years, focusing on a broad scope of development initiatives for counterbalanced container handlers including digitalisation, electrification and automation. Altogether, she has 25 years of experience in both technical and digital product development as well as business development.
